Cucina Olive Oils Store Opens at Chandler Fashion Center

Chandler, AZ - October 29, 2007

Cucina Olive Oils, a new specialty retail shop, will open November 1, 2007. Located in The Boulevard Shops at the Chandler Fashion Center in Chandler, Arizona, Cucina (which means kitchen in Italian) Olive Oils will feature a broad variety of the finest extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars from around the world. In addition, Cucina Olive Oils will market gourmet pastas, spices, gifts, and create gift baskets.

The first olive oil store in Arizona, owner and proprietor Christina Guglielmo witnessed similar shops in her travels throughout major metropolitan areas in the United States. Her son, Johnny encountered the same shops while traveling through Italy. I always seemed to find great little gourmet shops when traveling, and was always impressed with the quality of products, along with the shop owners' personal knowledge and attention, she says. It seemed to me that east-central Arizona would embrace this gourmet experience. All our feedback reinforces this opportunity.

With the variety of olive oils available that can be used when cooking, there is one thing that remains consistent. Olive oils can be a much more healthful alternative to butter. In fact, a study done in 2005 stated that a daily dose of olive oil may even provide pain reducing effects. Extra virgin olive oil contains a natural inflammatory enzyme that may actually be responsible for preventing some health diseases such as heart disease, breast cancer, lung cancer, and more. Cucina Olive Oils will have a formal grand opening on Saturday, November 17, 2007. In addition, a website will be established soon.
